Well I tried shaving but my skin really did not appreciate it. Would love to try waxing but as I seem to have had an alergic reaction last time I had my eyebrows waxed I'm not sure that would be such a good idea

Have just bought some hair removal cream so gonna give that a go, just hope it works or I'm stuffed!!

Would appreciate any advise too

Willow (just thought should add its me and not James, who just shaves and has no issues lucky sod!)

DO NOT leave the removal cream on longer than advised on the packaging.. cos it burns like hell!! i burnt my old chap to hell the first time i used it haha.. and if your hair is a bit "wild" trim it down first.. makes like a lot easier.

I have very dry skin on my legs and shaveing is makeing them worse, i was advised to try a epilator, yeh i been told they hurt a little, but also been told you get used to it, and it lasts for weeks. Thinks this will be the kindest thing for my dry legs.

Any thought on epliators?

I had a epilator when I was a teenager. I thought they were really painful, athough that could have been as I was a wimpy teenager!!

Didnt think they were that good anyway but then maybe that was because it wasnt very expensive, being a poor teenager as well as wimpy one lol

I use an epilator all the times on my legs, it is a little uncomfortable till you get used to it.

I sometimes use it underarms if I'm feeling brave ...... But only used it twice on my fandango ....... the second time was to check it was as sore as the first time, it was!

I love my epilator, I use it on my armpits and legs, lovely and smooth.

As to my "Fandango"...well only on the front, never on (as hubs puts it) the under carriage.. far to dangerous!

Hi sweetie, well if you are not taking hormones then your hairs will grow back quicker and thicker than g-girls, personally I wax for special occassions and if I know I'm going out for a few days in a row, otherwise i epilate my legs and arms and shave my underarms, and vital bits, bottom line is you know what you will feel comfortable with, but for us t-girls, shaving probably the least attractive because of the after effects whereas epilating does reduce the hair thickness and amount when it grows back, I am also having IPL (laser) treatment for my facial hair and it's working great but it only removes dark hairs and unfortunately I have some grey boo hoo, anyway, please mail me if you want to chat more about it, hugz, Ruby, xxxxx
