I personally would remove it. Text/messaging could be very easily misunderstood.

However looking into your verification, don't think you can complain about missing out on meets.

Do you want to get messages from people that get your sense of humour (that you will enjoy meeting) or more messages from people that don't get it, that you possibly will not meet anyway or if you do may not get your sense of humour?

I actually find it funny. But I have a dry sense of humour. Some may take it at face value and avoid. I'd respond as I would see you as funny and like minded .

I suppose the proof of the pudding..but by the accounts on the OP's profile..they appear nothing like in the opening sentence

If it's working keep it, if it isnt change it. It's not going to stop people just looking at your pictures and sending a message. If that is annoying you make sure you chat about who replies. It's frankly a godsend to me that Carter runs this account because dealing with mail from people who never read the profile left me grumpy and jaded

I think it's brilliant! you've definitely got to keep it. I would imagine that the people who find it rude or don't read all of it, are probably the same people that you are trying to out anyway.

I started reading it and it definitely made me want to carry on reading the rest. Really liked your sense of humour, although there are probably some who won't get it, but then would you want to meet them? I'd definitely meet you as it shows you don't take things too seriously xx

Oh my god I'm the only person that can see that this is a wind-up they have 290 verification or meats they have no issue with their profile whatsoever being harsh

Personally I love trying to fit within somebody's rules even if it means I secretly want to change them later
