Hey I’ve been prescribed with Tamsulosin, one of the side affects is that it stops ejaculation. Would this stop you meet?

I think for me it would depend on what it was prescribed for, and if you still get sexual enjoyment without the obvious finish

It was prescribed as a short term treatment following a prostate biopsy. Won’t affect my sexual enjoyment just no end product so to speak.

I have been on it for a couple of years and can still ejaculate sometimes when properly stimulated, however a quick wank does not make me ejaculate. I do however still get great sensations and satisfaction. Many older men do not ejaculate much anyway, no one ever mentions it.

Hiya, I would say the benefits will far outway the side effects, as with all medicines when you have been taking them a little while your body adjusts, this is why you’ll find as with the above poster sometimes you will ejaculate, so if it was decided you needed to stay on them then you may ejaculate once in a while, easy for me to say as I’m a female but I wouldn’t let it determine your sexual activity, we tend to play in clubs and to be honest it’s not to often that you see the guys cum, in the circles we mix in, most don’t, by choice I know, but if you were out in club, who would know if it’s by choice or not, just a thought

To clarify slightly. I’ve already been diagnosed with prostate cancer. The biopsy was to see if it’d gotten aggressive enough to require treatment. Thanks for wishing me well with the results.
