Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

Ditch. I've had the same in the past and they never made arrangements. Move on to more amenable folk and have fun.

Carry on ..... what have you got to lose ?

Emails cost nothing and it shows you've got patience.

If you have patience then I would take the advice above.

We, as a couple, have an extremely busy working and family life so can find it hard to set a date for fun. We are meeting up with a guy next week who we had a social meet with LAST YEAR!!! lol!!!

Sometimes we might be able to meet at a drop of a hat but that's extremely rare.

All I can say now to the OP is ask them for a few dates they have in mind for you and say you'll get back to them. It has come across as 'non pushy' when we have asked others or have approached this way

OP

Your experience mirrors one of my own recently. Let me guess, chatting's gone well, everyone very excited then you make the fatal error, mention which day you'd like to get together.......................................................................................................................................................................................

Move on if I were you, I did

I agree."

All that effort for what you already know is going to come to nothing?

carry on & see what develops

however, don't make them your priority -arrange meets with others too

that way you can be having fun whilst they make their bloddy minds up !

Agree with bus wanker. I'd put the ball back in their court saying you're interested in meeting up this weekend and it's up to them to confirm time and date if they are still free and interested and to let you know if they're not. Then leave it at that whilst you sort some other meets out. Good luck.

Agree entirely, we have a hectic family and work life and can only meet on occasion, almost never at the drop of a hat. Hang on in there, they're probably worth the wait. Would say 'ditch' only if you have actually firmed something up and they then let you down without good reason.

A Home Among The Woodland Creatures

If they know they are free this week, then surely they know when - otherwise they wouldn't say they were free - so sounds like a string-along to me.

The clincher will be if they remain silent until 7:30 on Saturday night and then contact you asking you to meet in half an hour - that one's right out of page one of the string-along playbook.

Of course I'm making a few assumptions.

Have you spoken on the phone? (Not just texted) To both of them?

Have they got more than one veri? Recently?

This week isnt over yet. Couples can find it difficult to agree on a date to meet as there are two of them to coordinate before throwing you into the mix. Messages cost nothing. Just send them a polite message saying you are making plans for the week and would love to be able to include them so would they please let you know as soon as. Stay in touch anyway. Some are worth waiting for. Pursue new people too. x
