Can anybody tell us what happens at an organised social event and if there’s an expectation to play as it may be something we’d like to do.

Organised social are non play events. Usually held in pubs, hired venues or occassionally clubs. They do give you the opportunity to network but any play would be arranged away from the social.

Meet up. Get pissed/drink tea together. Have a laugh. Go home.

Any extras arranged as a side issue amongst yourselves.

There's never any expectation to play. Maybe at *some* (not all!) private parties they assume people will fuck but you can ALWAYS say no if you don't want to. x

It depends where they are held. We went to one in a club where it was very much the norm to play but all of the ones we've been to and helped to organise in pubs are very much just social gatherings and fantastic fun...what happens afterwards when you've met people you click with is entirely up to you...
