You can set your preferences to not allow newbies to message you untill they have been on site for a bit..gives them chance to settle in and see how the sites works and hopefull send better messages

I must admit we have our filters on so that they can’t message, we’ve had several messages from “couples” that I don’t beleive were couples at all some reported and removed. So although not fool proof we only speak with verified members

No, as it stops the weekend wankers from messaging. They are the ones who join on Friday and are gone by Sunday lunchtime usually.

I get quite a few messages and by the time I get round to read them, they've gone UNLOS - mainly within 30 minutes of actually sending it, no idea what is happening but it happening more frequently

I think they should be allowed to message. We were all newbies once. Saying that, my filters don't allow them to message me. I have tight filters so I can keep my inbox in check . Some enjoy getting messages off newbies though.

Interesting thoughts...lol

We’ve been let down 4 times by newbis. We arranged to meet on Whatsapp group (!!) only to seem them disappear hours before the meet. 4 times with 4 different couples !!

I don't mind helping people out, because unlike others.. I remember being totally new to this.. and it can be a very unfriendly and cliquey place a lot of the time.

Thats the thing...we havent decided to block them thinking rationally but they cant make up their mind if they want to meet or not or they’re just fake profiles....

Perhaps a Photo verification should be considered, if it hasn’t already? Don’t allow them to message until they are verified! I’m genuine but can’t even been arsed to do that on some other site have to take a pic of yourself that matches previous pictures, with Username, Date and site address! Not a bad idea but quite a bit of effort for admin etc

After filtering through the obviously fake ones and using your intuition to find the genuine seeming ones
