Skin Tags

My GF and I have a very active sex life ( and before I’m inundated in comments, she knows my full history, we are planning to create a Couples profile(after one false start last Nov)) and as a result I have developed a number of skin tags at the base of my Penis ewhich Google says this is a result of ‘friction’

Couple of questions:

Any other Guys experienced this?

How to remove?

I consider them un-slightly....ladies???

Try savlon cream. I had the same problem and a couple of days using savlon on the base of my shafts morning and evening solved it.

I remove my dad's. Obviously not on his genitals lol.

He gets them around his collar area, and in his armpits. We clean it with iodine, freeze it with ice, snip it off at the base with sharp scissors, then use a dab of quickstop to stop the bleeding (which is very minimal if anything at all).

He suffers with them chronically and has done all his adult life, and it just became easier and quicker for us to deal with them at home than him constantly going to the doctor, being referred, waiting for an appointment then having them removed only to do the same almost weekly.

I'm not advising you do this. This is what we do. He has no scarring, and says he never feels a thing.

If it's only a one off, the doctor is probably best. Good luck.

The perils of auto correct. I confirm that I have just the one penis. I did have skin tags around the base, which the GUM clinic helpfully confirmed were not warts. They suggested savlon and it works.

I also have some tags on my neck caused by the friction between the skin and clothing.

Thanks for the advice, I’ll try savlon first then the the freezing method if that doesn’t work.

I got a skin tag removal thing from Amazon and it worked an absolute treat. It puts a tiny little elastic band round the base of them and after a few days, they just fall off.

Nope that is warts and verrucae. Skin tags are from friction. Some people are more prone to them than others.

Depending on the body of the penis owner, it could be friction against skin next to the penis, friction against underwear or even public hairs. Or against his partner's body. All possible scenarios.

In my case I lost weight, my body changed and bits now rub which did not used to. All confirmed by GP and Gum clinic. Some people are just prone to skin tags and the difference between them and warts is quite obvious once you know what to look for.

You can use a sterilised nail clipper to remove skin tags, but I wouldn't recommend that near your penis!
