I get tested every 3 mths , use protection anyway for sex but not for oral. Is that about right time

wise ? Also do you thinks it’s ok to but the status in our profile - ie

I personally would get checked after every new partner, depending on how confident I am of their responsibility over their own sexual health.

As for putting it in your profile... meh. You could just put that there, for all I know, that doesn’t make it true. See my point?

Checked and nothing showed up on 12 Jan 2018, some sti's take time to show up in tests.

There are times when I’d be in so often that the tests would blur

So I get tested every three months including bloods and I go for swabs every two weeks if I’m playim lots. Just doing what my clinic suggested.

It means I was clear 2 wks before that date. There’s only so far you can go to be safe , but at least I’m being responsible

I get tested every 3 months including bloods.

If you want to put how often you get checked and when you were last checked on your profile, go for it, do whatever you’re comfortable with.

I think that the frequency of checks needed, depends on how you swing and how often.

If you only do soft swing you might not feel the need for frequent checks. If you bb I would suggest very frequent checks.

Others will disagree.

For the record we were last tested beginning of the month...

I think every 3 months is about right, if you're meeting regularly. It's the routine I follow and like you I use protection for sex, but not oral.

I put it on my profile, as I feel it's important (and it means people don't have to ask).
