Hi just a little advice, if I message people and they read and don’t reply or just delete the message, I block them so they don’t come up in my searches. Am I been too harsh?

Not even slightly. Why would that be harsh? They’re not interested so they’ll never know you have and you won’t bother them again. Winners all round

I used to do this as it makes logical sense and saves times but, over time, I ended up with quite a large block list and it felt so negative so, I deleted all my block list and now I don't block anyone

For you maybe. Some enjoy the social side too. There would't be numerous social all over the country otherwise.

I agree, not everyone can meet as much as they’d like but are certainly up for the social side. There’s more to this site than just shagging!!

I do the same, it is pointless to bother the same people maybe a month or 2 after, because you don't remember about your first contact.

Much more scary when people agree a meet and then block you!!! Happened twice to me.

No. I do same. If people are as rude as to be so passive aggressive then blocking is a good thing.

It’s a bit OTT. I often read messages and don’t reply for days because I’m too busy or because I want to wait until I’m in the right mood to respond.

I don't think so. There is a chance you might miss a reply from someone who likes to take a bit of time before doing so, but if your message has been deleted without response I'd say it was a genius move - stops you wasting any more of your time

The trouble with blocking is you never know if someone might change their mind. If a message has been ignored or deleted it still shows you mailed them. I have had mail deleted then a few days later had a message after they read my profile

If it makes your Fab life easier or pleasanter then block. However it will also mean you won’t be able to look at their pictures or converse with them in the forums - as others have said there is more to Fab than just arranging meets. It’s also worth considering that if you block them they won’t be able to see your profile and you won’t come up in their searches. Now it may be that the timing was just bad when you were deleted. Or it maybe that your message or profile didn’t appeal. Another time, another place, maybe when they are actively looking they might stumble scross your profile and think ‘he looks good’. Why close doors?

Not at all. We block people we aren’t interested in, mainly to keep them from Popping up on our updates, etc.
