How long before you

How many messages or length of time conversing on fab would you at least get on to the subject of meeting perhaps? Not necessarily to have sex straight away though but just make contact.

I know everyone is different and getting to know them is pretty key so I don't like to rush things, but I like to get a feel for someone in person face to face. Basically there are many time wasters and fantasist I feel here so just getting more information and actually agreeing over something can sort through this maybe.

I think within the first half dozen messages the subject of meeting should be broached. Just to show intent. Otherwise you will get to a point where it's awkward to mention it.

Yeah I think what you said is very true and important. Maybe people unwilling to talk like this should be then avoided like the plague.

Do it early enough to know they are not just having a wank whilst chatting.

I tend to meet after a month or two - so the meet now to fuck message are probably from the wrong person

Not necessarily. We chat to people we're never going to meet due to distance or on the understanding that we might meet if circumstances allow.

I'll talk about meeting from the first message, but while making it clear that I'm not one to hurry or be hurried. Others I'll say I'm not looking for meets right now but happy to chat in the meantime.

I like to take my time which puts a lot off, but I'd call that a result.

Anything from the 1st message to the 100th. If someone constantly hints at meeting it puts me off, and makes me feel pressured.

I've come to the conclusion that a lot men don't need a face pic or to get any idea of who I am, or what I'm looking for on here, to decide they want to meet me. The ball is in my court, let me play with it a while please.

Exactly for me why I left my last post

This one's always been a bit tricky for me, as I've outlined in a recent post requesting initial contact advice.

I love to chat. I'd love to have a group of folks who I could chat with on a regular basis, irrespective of whether or not we'll ever meet up.

But I also like to meet, and am happy to talk about meeting in the first few messages.

The trick is sleuthing out who's who with regards to chatting/meeting, something which I seem to be fairly bad at.

Having written that 'down on paper' now... I see a few things that I could alter on my profile which might make things a little easier for me.
