We’re thinking of buying a toy that can be controlled remotely by a mobile app as Mr is going to be away traveling a fair bit over the next few months.

Just wondering if anyone had bought one and what your thoughts are...

We have one, but haven't used it too much as the opportunities have been few and far between. The toy feels really nice an almost silky feel to it and the vibrations are strong. The only thing Ann-Marie says could be better is the clitoral stimulation is minimal. The app seems good to use although it has recently come to light that the sound activation mode keeps a recording allowing lovense to listen in to your activities. This should have been fixed in an update, but I've not checked this yet. We thought we'd give it a go as it seems to be very popular on a certain can chat site. Really we need to use it more as it is fun to use.

Good to know, and looking at your pics, we’d think you know a thing or two about toys, some of those motorised ones look fun

I can't directly comment on the Lovense Lush as I don't have one but I have been a backer of a couple of Lovense products when they were at the crowdsourcing stage on Indiegogo. I therefore have both the Hush and Edge.

Both the Hush and Edge have the feel of high end sex toys and give stronger vibrations than quiet a few toys I've come across. The android version of the app works pretty well for me in close range mode, where the product is driven by a phone within bluetooth range of the toy. I haven't tried the long distance remote control where the toy is linked to the wearers phone but this is essentially relaying control commands from a second controllers phone.

In local mode the app allows the controller to either use self generated or downloaded patterns which tends to be how I use mine. The app also has the option to generate patterns based on music files on the phone or respond to local sounds. The final control option in the local mode is somewhat confusingly called remote and this gives the controller the option to directly adjust the vibration intensity in realtime.

It's a great concept however the one thing we find most irritating with it is that it often drops the signal between the toy and the users phone.

If the phone is not right next to it was can be problematic...

Then it will drop the signal on a regular basis and have to be reconnected which spoils the moment.

When it works as it should it is very horny and it is so sexy watching a woman have an orgasm without seeming to be touched. Oh and the subtle hip thrusts out in public are interesting too

No problem at all connecting phone to phone as long as you have signal.

It's the connection to the toy that's the issue. If that drops then the person on the other end has no idea it's dropped.

If say the user was naked on a bed I don't think it would be an issue but if the user is dressed then it is.

We got the we vibe jive yesterday and found that the connection drops quite a bit between phone and toy.

Naughty was naked and the phone right next to her, but it still struggled to be honest which did ruin the moment.

We’re going to test it out and about tomorrow evening and see how it fairs with some clothes in the way. Will report Back c

Got a We-vibe Sync as a Christmas pressie for my fwb and I have to say that when it works it's a pretty bloody marvellous little gadget...

However, as you have probably already realised, the salient phrase is "when it works" - the app is buggy as hell; it drops out frequently and crashes all the time. Often in order for me to login remotely I have to uninstall and reinstall it, which is frustrating when you've bothered taking the time to make a 'playlist' - as this gets lost.

Used together, it's not that problematic, but over the internet remotely it can be quite the little cockblocker (or I suppose whatever the female equivalent is) by virtue of its unreliability.

Still, fantastic when it works...

V got one a little while ago and wore it on a social meet to the pub with another couple.

As people have said it does seem to drop the connection quite a bit but it was hilarious trying to get it to work, we’d be messing about with it doing nothing then suddenly it would start working on full vibrate when she least expected it and she’d let out a yelp!

Everyone in the pub must of wondered what the hell was going on!

Does seem to get mixed reviews. Appears to work we’ll on a cam site tuned to tipping but I guess that’s local syncing not internet.

Still puzzling me. Curiosity might get me then it will be discarded as not reliable.

Me and my fb have lovence lush. We use it when she is at work and out and about.

It’s a great bit of kit but sometimes it’s a pain to connect! There’s a new version coming out which has better Bluetooth

We-vibe 4 has alot of issues regarding phone controls.. I can concur with others on that and from reading extensive reviews.

There is the omnibod - haven't yet had a chance to see it up close. But looks exciting..

Lol, 19 weeks ago I was, now am back lol.

We’ve actually hardly used it, the connectivity was a big issue, so it’s sat pretty unused sine we got it.

We have the Wevibe bloom.

Like others, the connection between the phone and the vibe can be a bit flaky.

When connected it works well with the app when we're apart. It's good to design your own vibe patterns.

Have to reconnect it quite a few times though, but that can be fun as it randomly reconnects & gives a buzz

Nora - rabbit vibe - effective but noisy

Max - male masturbator. Honestly nowhere near as good as a regular fleshlight. The motor is noisy as hell, and the vibrator thing doens't do anything else for me than just stroking into the fleshlight does

Lush - yep good fun that one

Hush but plug - again good fun.

Setting up was very confusing as we bought all four at the same time, and they didn't make it clear that two separate apps are required, two run on one app and two on another.

We haven't used them over the internet yet so no idea whether that works well or not. They are well-made though.
