We'd probably stop the same way we started.

We'd discuss it and either agree to stop or address any issues that were causing concern.

Either way we'd stop for a while to make sure we were alright.

We have semi stopped because of starting a family we found just stopping was the best solution. Although staying off the scene is quite difficult.

I'd assume that it's like stopping smoking, the first aim is to reduce down to a couple a day...

Same here. If one of us was a single on here then we'd probably leave the door open to come back and dip in and out as our fancy changed. Unless something drastic happened that made leaving the only option.

Only way you stop is if you met someone outside of fab who isn't a swinger and fall for them .Then anyone with a heart would delete and go .

It would be immediate, we have had about 5 profiles here. When we decide to have a break we delete completely to stop the temptation as we find when we decide to only use the forum temptation strikes again. Like a band aid is the only way

We stopped actively swinging, sort of, a bit...

Wife works overseas so we get limited time together and are quite selfish when we do get the chance to be together.

But we still play with a few people we have known for years, and have been to a club in Germany when I popped over for a long weekend. So not actually stopped but not actively swinging either. I think it will probably fizzle out eventually. But we will see...

Personally I want to be here at 99 and write to all those who say they will meet 18 to 99 year olds

As soon as there all ticket off our f*cket list then we're gone.

We thought that as well but the more we experienced and ticked off, twice as many that we hadn't thought of came to mind

We’ve deleted our profile three times over the years , simply because we are an all or nothing couple .

We both have such addictive and almost obsessional personalities , so if we are on here , we are in here to meet and have fun . The only way we stop is to delete , but as I said , we’ve left and come back 3 times in seven years !

I would imagine, if we ever stopped it would just gradually peter out. Maybe find over a period of time that we weren’t enjoying it so much and find that we couldn’t be arsed to arrange anything.

Exactly this. Swinging is fun and we enjoy it but if for whatever reason one of us had a change of heart we would stop straight away x

Depends on your reasons.

We take a break when fab just isn't given us a buzz and hide our profile.

However if one of us doesn't want to do it anymore, it's an instant delete.

An excellent question OP.

Stopping is one thing but staying stopped is another. The number of people that delete their profile only to return later is very high. Of course then they have to start from scratch which is a shame in my opinion.

Also as well as how do you stop, how do you know when to call it a day?

Personally I de have to get a friend to delete my profile

And then to make sure I stay away - you know the way you can ban certain sites from being viewed they de have to do that and have to put a password on on my house broadband and more so my phone so I couldn’t log back in
