Hello all I met a woman off here and had a great meet.

But she’s fed up with this site and she had asked me on Christmas Day at 11pm to meet her at last minute but I couldn’t meet her because I had too much to drink.

I was going to send her some flowers and a card to apologise but thought it could be a bad idea.

Anyone know what I should do?

What’s the apology for? You’re not on standby 24:7. 11pm on any day is a bit opportunistic and optimistic to expect a meet.

As for sending gifts to apologise for something you shouldn’t be apologising for - I wouldn’t. Just because you’re a single guy doesn’t mean you should demean yourself.

If you ask her for a meet and she’s not available, I bet you wouldn’t expect an apology

Possibly, leave the ball in her court if she get's in touch with you later on down the line then all's well, if not well you cant keep chasing them for ever so to speak

Sounds like she had plans that fell through and was using you as last option . 11pm very late to try arrange spur meet on Xmas day

Personally I wouldn't worry. Onwards why apologise and send flowers for something that was unplanned.

She needs to grow up if she not speaking to you because of it.

I second this. Sounds like you were a backup and she's spat her dummy out because you didn't run to her.

OP it sounds like she is having a sulk because you didn't come running when she clicked her fingers. You are not at anybody's beck and call.

Let her make the next contact and only agree to meet if it is MUTUALLY convenient.

I certainly wouldn't send flowers, a card or anything else. You have nothing to apologise for and doing this is a bit creepy for NSA. If you are in a proper relationship or have been FWB for a while it would be different.

You're not being silly but you need to realise that this is for nsa sex for most people therefore you owe nothing but basic respect and good manners. If you invest too much thought or time in it you will make yourself vulnerable.

I just want to applaud you on going no where near a meet if you have had to much to drink, especially if you had to get transport or even worse drive!!

Where I’m based in crowborough you can only drive to Brighton unless you want to go up to Croydon on a train then down to Brighton or it’s a 1hr 30min bus ride.

Where by car it’s 35 to 50mins.

I don’t normally drink and prefer not to most of the time.

I enjoy driving and do when I can race cars too.

Some fab friends came to my last race meeting and we had a night of fun too
