But the issue is I'd feel rather awkward as I've never been to one and wouldn't know where to start sorry for being such a amateur lol

Best to have a look at the club reviews for the area you would like to visit. Most have comprehensive websites.

Just go along and see. I've found that people are usually pretty friendly. Just don't expect any guarantees as you're a man

Most people felt that way on their first visit. Only one way to get over that feeling

OP pretty much everyone feels this way when they first go, it is normal to be nervous.

Do some research on clubs beforehand. Many have strict rules fir single men, require you to become a member and some have a waiting list for men to join.

Be respectful, friendly, chatty and sociable - it's not just all about the sex. Don't fall into the trap of becoming one of the "wanking zombies" who just follow ladies and couples around and make no attempt at conversation. If you have good social skills and are comfortable talking to strangers in a non-sexual environment then you will get on fine at a club.

Everyone who's been has gaff a first time, bet most had nerves about it. Look at the club listings on here, figure out which sounds most like the one you'd enjoy, get in touch to book and ask any questions, maybe ask if a tour is possible when you arrive.

Also consider posting a club meet in the run up, ask people who are also going to get in touch, just so you might know some faces and names when you arrive.

Possibly go first time just with a view to seeing what it's like, don't expect to play, then see how you feel and who's there.

Scunthorpe

Your nearest clubs will be HU9 in Hull, La Chambre in Sheffield, and Quest or Pandoras in Leeds. All are good clubs and each has nights where they let single guys on and nights when they don't.

The best advice for anyone in clubs is to expect nothing... assume that you are just going to chat with people. Make a huge effort to chat with as many people as possible, people won't approach you. And most importantly have fun, people like folk who have fun.

Most will give you a tour out of opening hours, but even in opening they will show you what is what and what the etiquette is. Basically the same as a China shop, don't touch unless invited to.

Bath ish

The last thing clubs need are any more shy swkward guys who dont fit in. Think why do you want to go if it's to socialise meet great people and maybe get lucky then fine if not leave it to the ........

they give you a towel my recommendation would be to drop it accidentally whilst in the play area

I am thinking the same just now. Just need the courage to go for it.

If people were offering advice, would they go to a club first or have a private meeting ?

I’m ready to go with a guy

Not all club's are dress down club's. I prefer to go dressed and take things at my own pace.

club's generally do tours if you arrive soon after opening, there will be more chance to have a leisurely tour and ask any questions.

Lovely answer. This is what is love to do.

Hope that whenever I ‘ go for it ‘ there are people that understand that they were once there too
