Can someone please tell me what the difference between bisexual and bicurious is for women?

Some people put bicurious because they feel that they get judged more harshly by people if they put fully bi!

Or they put bicurious to start with and have been so busy playing willy games ever since that they havent had the chance to update their profile!!

To me Bicurious are people that aren't sure if they are Bisexual or not, & are willing to experiment to find out if they are or not.

Bisexuals are people that can fall in love & have a meaningful relationship with either a male or female.

I'd go with that.

Bi-curious:Interested and willing to give it a whirl

Bi-sexual: Given it a whirl and are now more than just interested!

To be honest, I think there is a little Bi in all of us, it's simply a matter of degree and how comfortable we are embracing all the possibilities (sexually) that are open to us.

Bi Sexuality is a win win as far as I'm concerned, but I know that 'Label' gets a worse time of it than all the Gays, Lesbians, Transexuals/genders etc put together. Many people have a hard time getting their heads around a person not being able to choose an either or. Stuff convention, I say, and have it all if you want!!!!!

Anyway, that's just my two penny worth

Yer not playing Bridge, lol, you are having sex. If you enjoy being intimate with a woman, whether you are actively seeking one or not, then you are Bisexual. It's nowt to be ashamed of. I'm Gay, 'cos I don't like sex with men. If I did, then I'd call myself Bi, whether I was actively looking for a man or not.

Just my opinion, lol

This sums it up for us too, for me (Mr KnS) I enjoy some Bi play but don't think I could have a meaningful relationship with another guy, thats why we would also like a 'Bi-playfull' option.

I think Bi curious simply means they would like to find out if they like and enjoy. Bi sexual to me means they have tried it, they did like it, and they want to do more!

In my opinion, it has nothing to do with an option of having a relationship. Its about sex. Its not about relationships. That would be like saying a heterosexual man will only have sex with a woman he would have a relationship!?!?! Thats silly, a man will have sex with any woman that will let him lol!! x

Disagree with this.

We are both bi sexual in that we will play/have sex with people of the same gender. But neither of us have had a relationship or are likely to fall in love with people of the same gender.

Also

I would'nt say someone is bicurious if they have experimented more than a few times with someone of the same gender. They would be bisexual surely. How many times does it take someone to make there mind up if they like that. Surely if you don't like that sort of thing after a few time. You stop trying it.

Generally agree with your understanding.

Sexuality isn't just boxes that we all fit into, there are sliding degrees of interest, as well as types of interest.

Romantic/love interests can be completely absent for many people, even though they have sexual interest or curiosity.

Someone may know they're bisexual, even if they've not had sex, of course, where they have clear sexual/other interest in both sexes. The bicurious is a more recent label, and potentially offers a get out for some people who are not so comfortable admitting to themselves or others that they have interest in the same sex.

Str8 means you only fancy the opposite sex, Gay means you only fancy your own sex,

Bi sexual means you fancy both the opposite and your own sex.

Bi curious in my eyes is someone who is just that-- curious about sex with both genders.

I think many people who may have had an experience of sexual contact with thier own sex, even though they dont fancy thier own sex, could be considered curious.
