I don't do oral without a fruity condom on his cock as unfortunately the STi's that pass onto via oral has rocketed in the UK according to a medical journal I read

That said I do have a regular guy that I know gets regular checks who I do suck bare as we talk about other girls he has fucked etc, so it is a managed risk

I've heard sucking a guy with your eyes closed makes it perfectly safe.

A new one on me.

Not cleaning your teeth just before is better advice. If your gums bleed you give a route into your blood stream.

Better off cleaning them a few

cleaning ur teeth straight after oral isn't a good idea , if ur gums bleed , this may help any infection IE HIV being transmitted into ur blood stream !

Yeh it's advised to not floss before oral as well as that can make gums bleed.

I caught chlamydia in the past and know it was through unprotected oral. So this should not made light of! Getting an sti is embarrassing and a real pain as you have to get treatment for it asap as they do have complications if left untreated as well as you risking passing it on to future partners!

Educate yourselves. Check if potential partners have ever had a cold sore (herpes) both types are transferable via oral, it's invisible and still spreadable. People have it and are clueless that they have it so be careful out there. You can use dental dams for oral and condone for sex but those won't stop herpes anyway.

Other stds can obviously be minimised by condom use. I'm still amazed that people message wanting bareback. Fucking ludicrous and an instant block!

Re: My own post! There is no such thing as 'safe sex'. Ask your potential partner as it us your right, whether he or she is 100% certain they are free of STIs/HIV. If the answer is uncertain. Walk away! It is a crime, a form of common assault to, knowingly, infect someone. We all have a duty of care to ensure, to guarantee the safety of our partner(s). To not do so is irresponsible and negligent.

It's advisable not to brush or floss soon before or after oral sex.

Mouth swab testing is easy. I don't suck cocks with condoms on. Never had a problem.

I can't say that I have ever asked anyone if they have had cold sores. Do people actually ask that?

You mean you don’t have a list of questions to ask as a playmate is getting undressed for a play ?

1 . Have you got or have you had a cold sore in the past week ?

2 . Do you have HPV ?

3 . When were you last tested ?

4 . Let me see the text proving you were clear .

5 .Have you abstained from sex with another since the test ?

6 . Have you had the hep jab , and boosters ?

By which time the playmate has put their clothes back on and scarpered I would guess ....

I know it’s not a subject to joke about , but it’s just plain ridiculous to expect the Spanish Inquisition before every meet .

We take the responsibility ourselves to get checked regularly , and we never assume anyone is sti free . Everything carries a risk , and we all play according to what we consider the best for ourselves regarding the risk to fun factor . If we were going to go for the risk free option we wouldn’t play with anyone . So we use condoms for fucking , but go bare for oral . We get throat swabs every six weeks and despite being quite prolific at times it’s been a trouble free seven years of swinging for us . Perhaps we’ve been lucky , but taking care and getting regular checks seems to work out for us .

Oh and we have never asked anyone if they are disease free , never mind specifically asking about herpes .

I carry a small bottle of mouthwash, always use after oral

Sti clinics do not advise brushing teeth as gums can bleed
