Evening all.

Usually post on here on our couples profile JackDmissmorgan.

We are both using our singles profile too.

I'm just after some advice on first messages. I do to chat to ladies/couples but ones I have met when I was single.

I start like this:

Hey to you both/or names if known.

I'm ........ I'm friendly, respectful and genuine which I hope you will see from my veris.

I saw ......... on your profile and wanted to say hi. I think we have a few common interests.

I've attached some pics and it would be great to chat some time.

It maybe that my face pics put them off but is that a decent first message to send?

It could be worth asking a question so there’s something quick and easy to respond to...

“I see you love climbing, outdoors or indoors?”

“I see you live near Scarborough. Do you spend much time on the beach?”

“I love the beach picture. Where were you?”

If I was messaging and the profile catches my eye I just say.

Hey came across your profile and thought I'd send you a message. Do you fancy a chat?

Never done me any harm.

Bland, generic and flaccid.

If you have a couples profile you must have some idea of what a decent message is?

Whay do you mean if? Search and you will see. Plus not really, as we rarely get decent messages. Hence why it says on our couples profile we only meet couples at socials and clubs now. Thanks for your input.

I wasn't questioning the existence of your couples profile just referencing it. 'Rarely' indicates you have had some decent messages. If you are struggling to send decent messages yourself maybe you should concentrate on meeting others at socials or clubs as a single male entity...

Thanks for bringing this up, I searched the help section, but what a decent message is, is the holy grail of all things Fab.

I had craft every message, make it personal, (if they say anything more than (looking for nsa fun) polite, respectful. And usually ask an open question.

The number of unread messages sucks for sure. I’v just about exhausted all the options on the island I live on. So suspect i could be another casualty of Fab.

There's no right or wrong answer. Some just want, "Fancy a fuck" all the way through to a degree dissertation.

We just prefer a hello, we're close by, fancy meeting sometime. Then we can swap details etc.. and take it from there.

So we're all different. As you know, it's not easy. And many are arrogant as to not reply (the rules/faq doesn't really help).

We've only recently started mailing and tried to tailor the message. The couples responded and we've had meets. The guys believe it or not none weren't interested which we found strange.

So that's confused us a bit. So not sure putting an effort in seemed to make a difference to them.

There’s no correct message. For us if you have attached a pic and we fancy the girl / guy / couple we will message back. Unless the message is particularly shit that is.

We try and put down the type of people we fancy but still everyone else messages. For the best results find a profile that looks like you might be what they are looking for and then just say a few lines .

I personally don't think that's a bad first message. Anyone who bothers to mention something in our profile that they are interested in (other than the pictures) stands out.

The only thing I'm not so keen on is describing yourself and saying your veris show that. They're the sort of things I'll decide for myself over time and we all know veris on display are never going to say anything bad. Maybe swap those characteristics for some less subjective.

As someone else has suggested asking some questions makes for an easier conversation starter.
