When you view someone's profile, their username changes from black to grey. I have recently noticed that some profiles which I know that I have seen, have changed back to black again!

I know that this happens if a member leaves and rejoins with the same name, but some have not left at all.

Could someone please enlighten me? (scratchy head emoticon)

Depends on how the site does it.

Web browsers remember the links you have clicked and show them in a different colour. So different PC would obviously not know about what you did.

Or the site might track who you've looked at and change the highlight accordingly.

In both cases the list is probably of limited size, so old ones are forgotten.

I suspect it's just a 'you have hit this link' colour change.. if so the chances are it will go back to 'not hit' whenever you either close and reopen your browser, or the Fab tab (hey I'm a poet) or when you clear your internet cache either automatically or by hitting the button in your browser options.

.. could be wrong

I only use the same p.c. on google chrome, so it could be a limited capacity, but it does seem selective.

I think I can actually answer a computer question..

I have seen it happen in two different occasions... if the person you are looking ar has changed there name...

or if you have done a computer clear.. cleared histories or cookies for example...

Think you may have hit the nail on the head there Fabio, my missus does all computer maintenance so will quiz her when she gets back from work.
