Soft sounds great at the he start but as it progresses, it's frustrating, so we just stick to full.

We found keeping it simple was best.

Keep the communication going at all times and make sure you both agree that you are happy to move forward to the next step with whichever couple you choose.

Agree before that no one feels they're 'taking one for the team.

Agree the how's like 'we stay in the same room' for example.

Lastly agree that when you both feel right you're prepared to try it but if it doesn't work for either of you then you'll both move on with nothing being held against anyone in the future, put it behind you and move on as ypu were before.

It worked for us anyway lol

Over the roundabout and then turn right.

We may not be the best people to advise on this as we started off with full swap - but we think the way forward is to stay with the soft option until you meet that "special" couple. Or maybe you already have some friends you would feel comfortable going further with.

I didn't find it any different watching my hubby in a full swap to soft swap scenario. Still no jealousy etc, so if it's what you both agree on then it should be an easy transition.

On reflection though it isn't for us, at least not right now so we will be sticking to soft swap only as it suits us better.

Seriously though, we have done both, but we always start with a soft swap preference.

Only do it when you are both ready. We first full swapped with people we had soft swapped with on previous meets. After one soft swap meet, back at home, we said that we would have full swapped on that meet. So next time we both knew if it felt right we would.

We'd say it's better to do it that way round, than rush into something your aren't ready for.

We full swap and sometimes soft swap still. You shouldn't see swinging as a progression of steps you have to do though. There are great couples swinging who've done it for years who only soft swap. Do what is right for you, if and when it is.

It's all about felling comfy with the couple ? Maybe start by soft if you enjoy it with a couple ask if you can meet up again and try full swop but make sure to explain that if you need to stop as not happy that you have a stop word or phrase ?

I'm sure everyone has had nerves about it so won't mind

Pick your favourite couple you have soft swapped with and go for a full. It goes without saying you, as a couple, should both be on the same page and at the same stage and both 100% ready.

Just take your time.
