When I was the younger generation I felt that too.

I’m a young lad and in general I think we get looked upon as rude layabouts that do nothing but moan about how unfair life is and think we know best (ps: we don’t actually know anything) other than that a lot of people on this site don’t like us because they have kids either around our age or older than us...which makes it harder to make friends and/or play partners or just connect with people in general.

I like the younger generation as a group. They take risks that I wouldn't, they're fresh, exciting and enthusiastic . I think it's worth listening to their views because it can give you alternatives you hadn't considered or possibly didn't even know about. I'm only too well aware of how narrow very elderly people's outlook can become if they don't mix with younger ones.

Individually they have good and bad points obviously but any group that consists of older people only becomes staid and boring you need a broad mix.

Sexually though it's not my thing.

We agree with most of this, except the last bit. Everyone has different taste for playmates. We totally agree the mix is beneficial and rather essential in clubs.

Some of them are gorgeous and great to look at. However, the ones I have come across on here seem to think they are god gift to women and that they deserve sex on a plate.

Very little respect for a woman who is single and on a site like this and a lot of them presume it is acceptable to call me things like "slut" ect.

As a voice of the younger generation I'd say that its the same as with any demographic. Some are sound and some are time wasters, as can be the same with men from 30s to forties or more.

There is a lot of us being painted with the same brush and that is unfortunate but all we can do is preserve in this wild world.

My initial perception of swinging (before I learned about it more) was probably influenced by grainy VHS tapes of the genre featuring very ordinary, middle-aged Germans having sex in their living rooms. I would think it was weird how couples would even consider swapping; I thought it was immoral, etc. Nowadays my perception is completely different, driven by the fact that this lifestyle has young, liberal people with hot bodies, dressed in fine underwear, with a propensity to show off and broaden their sexual experiences within the safety and comfort of a loving relationship. If the younger generation didn’t get involved in this lifestyle quite frankly I wouldn’t be in it.

Having said all that, where does that leave you as a 19 year old single guy? For me it’s less about your age than it is your status. Single men here have it incredibly hard, especially when they outnumber women and couples by some significant distance.

Have to say we agree with you.

You can’t really be a swinger if you haven’t actually had a proper relationship.

Think it would mess you up relationship wise otherwise, much like porn has.

I would say late 20’s as a minimum.

Just my thoughts on it.

In a club I will play with a guy of pretty much any age as long as I find him attractive, clean and respectful. My advice to any young person, male or female, would be go to a club if you want to sample the swinging scene. Learn how to interact in person, and show you are willing to put in some effort, rather than just hiding behind a keyboard at home in the hope that someone might contact you.

I think swinging does work best with a mature outlook, but wouldn't have a minimum age for swinging, provided the swinger is an adult of course!

One person at a certain age may be more emotionally mature than another of the same age.

The number of people I come across in their 40s,50s,60s etc who all say "I only wish I'd got into it when I was younger and not been stuck rigid by convention" or such like is huge...

I've been 'swinging' since I was legally allowed to have sex with whoever I wanted. And I've never had a 'vanilla' relationship because I discovered early liked kink and sleeping with multiple people.

I'm glad I've never had a 'vanilla' relationship. I think it would have made me miserable.
