" Can't see it being a problem for most, I get eczema on my eyelids and my lady garden...and you can imagine how dodgy thay looks! Never met anyone that had a problem with it, when it has been visible, though

"I have it quite bad n it makes me so embarrassed n anxious when meeting someone new n I’m always up front n tell them about it beforehand I can honestly say it’s never put any of my meets off n my fb has never mentioned it once in all the time I’ve been seeing him .... I feel for anyone else that suffers from this god awful skin disease n wish there was a over night cure for it! " I am now trying a new foam that has come on the market due to the length of time I have had it. I get embarrassed, especially as it is on my face.

" Mildred has some small patches of eczema and I used to have psoriasis for many years. Several years ago I had a major attack my whole body was covered in a rash. It lasted for 3 wks with a specialist trying various treatments all failed then it just went as quick as it came. Since then I haven't has a single patch anywhere other than the occasional bit on the back of my ear lobe. For most it's unsightly and most think the worst about it that's human nature. For many educating others is the way to go explain your situation before a meet tell them what psoriasis is then let them decide for themselves. It's only overactive skin cells trying to grow before the existing ones are ready to leave. For us it wouldn't put us off " Thanks xx

"Hi there peeps, I saw a thread about looks and wondered whether people would be put off of meeting someone who has psoriosis on their body?. I have had so for some time and am being treated for it. I am lucky enough to have a regular guy for fun who has always treated me with respect. We are looking at maybe introducing single females or couples into the mix. I am also a BBW so get stick for that sometimes. My question is, would you be put off with it or can you look past it and see the real me? Thanks " In a nut shell no and no i have some patches on my legs totally understand how it makes you feel but look past such things x
