Does the size of a person or couple put you off? Is that the first thing you see

Size as in weight? Doesn't bother me in the slightest as long as they have an attractive face (to me) and a decent personality

Ah don't let a little weight knock your confidence, nothing wrong with a little something to hold on to, besides me personally I'm not that into sticks, I like a little meat on the bones

Some people will be bothered, some won't be. Ignore those who are bothered and have fun with those who aren't bothered.

This is what I worry about also not just because i have excess weight, mainly around my stomach area but also because of my many stretch marks which I know couldnt be helped.

Me personally it wouldnt bother me so long as the personality was there and we got along. L x

I'm not particularly attracted to skinny women but variety is the spice of life as they say! We mostly spend more time stressing about certain aspects of our appearance and other people couldn't care less, as long as you can work what u got ??

For me size is not important, it's about the persons mind and how we get on.

No matter the size dress well, look well be happy, enjoy life.

If people are worried about you size they are not worth knowing.

We don't tend to be sexualy attracted to people who have body shapes obviously larger than our own. BBW etc.. But there are always exceptions if it's carried well. Just having a few extra pounds wouldn't put us off.

We're not 'gym fit' in terms of low body fat and toned muscles but we try and keep ourselves in shape as that's what we personally find works for us and is what we look for. That said, we'll happily chat and hang out with anyone regardless, it's just unlikely to go any further.

What irks us is double standard here in the way people describe size. WHY is it wrong to be slim? Almost all the posts above refer to slim people as 'skinny' or 'stick' or some other negative descriptor. Yet if someone was to describe a large person as fat, flabby, obese or one of the other negatives it would be pounced upon by all and sundry with a torch and pitchfork style mobbing.

Is it because the majority of people now are overweight and don't like themselves in the mirror so they have to spite those that have the body they're supposed have? If it's not that then why the animosity?

Strange it is that you never see slim people making public derogative remarks about those with 'a few extra pounds'

But it seems acceptable the other way around.

To answer the OP, no it's not an issue for us

^^^ I agree with this, I hate the word skinny, I am slim, not skinny by any means, I really don't know why derogatory terms are always used to describe my build, I would love to know why though

We're gonna be brave here, it's perhaps jealousy.

If anyone would like to give an alternative reason then feel free to enlighten us.

I'm personally not so sure, as a lot of men use the same derogatory terms as well, can some of the men explain why?
