Yes I expected that and think that's why the fail and I don't mean that disrespectfully. I think it fails unless you're Dominant only or a strong D focused switch.

I'm switch and on the D side I'm happy to take on switches but the role/needs/dynamic will be well defined as I don't switch with the same person. My head doesn't work like that. I tried it once, he said he was Dom but turned out switch so trying to dominate me other than physically didn't work. I find satisfaction with head space at the ends of the dom or sub spectrum and not mixing.

S side I'm happy to get topped by a switch, help them learn a technique or be a demo model for someone. For mind fucks and submission though I wouldn't consider a switch, someone who is Dominant only is capable of taking me on. And many Dominant only are still not strong enough for me.

Depends on the person but for me yes absolutely I can be fully at either side. For the guy I mentioned I met he was more middling. Do people naturally default to one side, of course everyone has preferences.

Naturally I'm a dominant person. Submission and utter surrender is a desire, a deep need, a choice and a gift for someone who deserves it. A man once showed me a possibility that they deserved it with a simple touch. It was profound. Others I may see something in their writing or something they say. Until I unlock that gate consciously I don't and can't go to the sub end of the spectrum.

Where I am on the spectrum depends on: where my life is at, my stress levels, my experience levels with something new and above all that, how I react to a particular person. Some people I simply cannot switch with. Some I can. Some I am very deeply at one end of the spectrum, some, I am part way across.

It depends is the answer - which won't suit anyone who wants a definite box in which to put a particular label and predict behaviour.

I’m naturally submissive in the bedroom, I’m little and bratty and throw tantrums. However that is only one aspect of me, it doesn’t define me, submission is a gift and not many get that gift from myself.

But outside the bedroom, I’m nothing like that.

Are there any other men up to domming a Domme? The search to satisfy my sub side continues as I’ve still not met anyone with the right mix of capability, judgement and respect for the D/s dynamic
