Could someone please tell me is it possible to use the webcam on a laptop to record like a video camera and playback the filming (fancy making a home movie), or do I have to buy a video camera

Cannot see anything in the start menu which allows me to activate the cam. I do now it works as I have tried it in the chatrooms.

Laptop is a HP G56 130SA and as I'm not very technically minded could you use small words and speak slowly!!! lol

Thanks

This we have done & do!

Tod records using the cam on the laptop & broadcasts with an external webcam.

He uses a thing called "Split Cam" that I'm sure is a free download thing, that allows both cams to work at the same time.

We occasionally have a few problems getting them both to work, but 9/10 we have no problems.

If you want I can ask Tod for a bit more detail for you?
