Those little digital fuckwits have been adding pounds every day recently!

I’m now 7 pounds heavier according to them.

Make sure you weigh yourself at the same time every time and make sure you are putting the scales in the same place exact time - ideally don’t weigh yourself every day as well if you can avoid it.

Ways weigh yourself first with at least half of your wardrobe on and after a huge meal.

Then weigh yourself naked from that day on, if you still put on weight pray to god that the scales are broken

I weighed 15 st 9 on Friday morning, Sunday morning at the same time I weighed 16 st 3!!!!!! That's half a stone more in 48hrs!!!!! Wtf

According to science ologists, a person's weight can fluctuate between 1 and 100 kilos per day depending on their proximity to the earth's core and local chocolate field.

I suspect that may have something to do with it. Plus I've never trusted electricity. Moving electrons indeed.

Apparently electricity flows from negative to positive rather than the other way round. They discovered the error some time ago but the maths work either way so they can’t be arsed to change it.

I, on the other hand, started my diet today. One bit of toast rather than two this morning. A salad for lunch. And a fishy tea. I’m not having a drink until nine and I’m limiting my intake as it’s been rather a lot recently

It does indeed, as electrons are negatively charged and attracted to the positive. But they've no right fucking up weighing scales whichever way they flow.

Good answer. I like red too. It’s my downfall. I worry it will go off unless I open it, decant it and then drink it all by the end of the evening

Scales are fairly meaningless unless you use them in conjunction with body fat calipers. If you only care about weight and not fat, then a very effective technique that generates instant results is to cut off a limb.

I have salad again and had one piece of toast. I’m thinking I might force myself to eat some fruit for breakfast tomorrow instead.

Fruit is carbs. Go for egg. And staying on the egg theme, go with a frittata for lunch since you can stuff it with fibrous veg and lean protein sources - it works wonders instead of a carby pastry quiche or pie. Or bread. God, I miss bread!

If your using scales to watch weight lose you should only weight yourself once a week at the same time of day,wearing same clothing.

Any more than that will just mess your head up with undue pressure,clearly thats showing here

Or better still dump scales and obsession with weight and use a tape measure and take records of lose that way

I read this while eating a boiled egg in my salad

I’ve got lentils and little green bean things. Hummus, lettuce and some tomatoes.

I only had two glasses of wine last night (half bottle) and no crisps.

I’m having no wine and no crisps tonight.
