If a couple say meet a couple in a bar for first time does it start by a couple of drinks together then say swap partners and carry on the night swapped as in maybe going few drinks with other guys wife etc.

we tend not to split off more stay as a 4sum. Mix it up with combinations of 3sums but as neither of us play seperately no we wouldn't carry on swapped. And id not go for a drink without it being as a couple

We usually stay as a 4sum, it's not so much of a swap, more like a mingle.
