We've had a couple of messages from unverified people in the past, and in the vast majority of cases, we tend to steer clear of these for obvious safety reasons.

However, a lot of these quite rightly explain that to get verified, they have to try. What advice would you give the unverified people to help get them started and be taken seriously?

To go to the cam rooms and socials to try and get verified if they want a veri.

Or they may strike lucky and get a meet from a profile who will meet unverifieds.

I actually don't mind giving unverified people 1 chance, I mean we have all been there... obviously a photo verification helps and somebody that has actually spent the time to fill their profile out properly makes them seem more legit, also I find grammar a big thing, slang/txt like dis talk seems to go hand in hand with sorting the genuines from the messers, otherwise its really try your best to hopefully find someone that will meet up with you

Similar to us. We've advised a number of people to try a club first.

We met our first veri's in a club, and we didn't even play, it was a great way to get ourselves a bit trust in the community, especially as we're a couple so a lot of people thought she might not exist.

I was unverified once!

It takes time, my first meet on here was unverified, a couple that only met black guy's. Not sure why they chose me, but they did.

My second was from a lady I had been chatting too for a while and we arranged a social and I became verified from that.

Personally I ignore webcam verifications because other than stating that they are a genuine couple or single female, it doesn't actually show they will meet.

I haven't needed it, but I guess the best way is to attend an organised social or maybe a club. Or be like me. Lucky!

Easiest way is get fab to photo verify u with a pic of you holding a card with your fab name fabswingers and date

I’ve met several unverified people and found the majority of those to be great meets so it doesn’t bother me.

Get a cam veri or go to a social and be the lovely person you are and you should have veris in no time

Thats right we all have been unverified but it makes me laugh when people say if your not verified don't message.

I'm back after a break and I don't care if I get verified or not. I would say just go to socials if you can get to one.

I've met with unverified people and verified them. I tend to trust more if they've been photo verified, you don't need a meet to do that.

I've met 3 unverified, no problem at all if you have good communication. If you're not feeling it, don't do it but mine have been great, one was actually awesome and still is

Before this place existed and I was some where else and still new to it all with no verification's and it still mattered. I went along to a social and ended up with 47 verification's.

ADVICE FOR NEWBIES

This section is especially for you singles and couples that feel the urge to pm me and ask for advice etc, now you don't have to it's all here for you!

1. Read FAQ section, particularly the part about no reply, no interest, it's not considered rude. Do not bother with the Sydney university shit on your profile, it means nothing.

2. Work on your profile: decent pics and a good bio, tick interests. Put a profile pic on.

3. Get photo verified, particularly important if you are a couple or single female.

4. Get cam verified to start, you can go into the cam rooms and ask someone to help you with this. Couples must both be on at the same time.

5. Read a profile before messaging, it's polite.

6. Read existing forum threads on profile advice, some very good ones.

7. Post your own thread to ask for feedback.

8. Act on said advice.

9. Go to local socials/clubs, meet people in public places.

10. Lastly, enjoy your time on fab!

This is a frustration for me, only in that I can't verify anyone else

I love the cams rooms and the past couple of night have been brilliant so I've PM'd to say how good they are (not just these but others too) and have always felt I've had to say why I'm messaging & then that sounds like I'm asking for a verification in return, which I'm not

I'm always polite of course and most of the time I'm not in their likes etc but I have to credit where it's due lol

It would be good if there was a way of getting verified, or a level of verification that would allow this after getting photo verified and/or being a gold member for example (selfishly that's me lol)

Most people don't mind being asked for verification if the interaction is pleasant. It's not a big deal. Generally you tell each other names then look it up later, as phones aren't generally allowed out in clubs.

Go to a club someone will verify you there
