Location how is it viewed

I know locations is about distance but I was wondering if people make judgements of taste on where your from. Im classed as Knowsley been here under a year but im from Wigan. Should this be made clear on your profile or not?

My location is right this is where I'm living for now. I mean it as if me and you was chatting and then we met wigan and Liverpool have totally different accents would that be a problem

There is a big difference from where people are from and where they currently reside .

In this day and age people do move around more it is what it is.

Your location in here needs to be accurate for people to search/consider ... people may like local meets or only travel with in a certain mile range.

If you feel that you could be passed over potentially by "accent snobs" then add a line to your narrative

If a person accommodates in home, then it's only fair and makes sense if they displayed their correct location.

Or correct county. Then private messaged the person they wish to meet their whereabouts within their county.

Without googling I dont think most people would know where it is. Maybe just put the nearest city (Liverpool????)

No don't think it's bad area lol. I just don't want to appear dishonest or disappoint. I'm new and not used to the text way more in to person to person communication. I'm just trying to figure out what to say and not say about myself in my profile

People can sometimes make assumptions based on location so a line in your profile to clarify can do no harm.

Some accents are in high demand so can work in your favour!
