Arranged two meets with same Woman, for her to cancel at last moment both times, frustrating as rearranged days to suit her,

Should I give her a third chance or just move on to next meet

It depends, if someone I'd met previously, knew they're reason for cancelling was genuine, then I'd understand.

But someone new, I'd give them a 2nd chance but that would be it.

If it was someone I've met before then I would give several chances depending on the circumstances, I won't be taken for an idiot though.

If it is a new person I might give a second chance but they definitely wouldn't get a third.

Same issue here but on-going. Expe dying a meet tonight but have no contact. Was meant to be yesterday...so I have nearly lost an entire weekend! It's just not good conduct unless it's something unavoidable, but should get a proper explanation as to why. It's our own volition to forgive or forget afterwards.

It doesn't sound like you've met before and if she's leaving it till the last minute I wouldn't be inclined to give it a third go. If you do decide to give it anther go make arrangements that don't put you out if she does it again.

I wouldn't say we'd never give a third chance, but that would only be if it was someone who'd previously been reliable and had legit excuses.

Without knowing the lady concerned, she could well enjoy the attention.

If anything, play it cool, see how hard she pushes to meet. If she starts clamouring to meet, remain non commital.

Maybe it was genuine, at least she told you.Only you can decide if she is, trust your gut instinct. I have arranged two meets with so called friends only for them to stop texting me all together in the run up to our meet. That was after numerous texts and calls before hand I no longer tolerate this sort of behaviour and have removed and blocked them both.Good luck

I got stood up for a meet tonight that I was really looking forward to. Something has "come up" - I suspect it's him having to pick up his grown daughter from work but I haven't asked.

At what point do people say to last minute demands "Sorry, you'll have to find another way as I've got plans tonight"

It isn't like she's 12 or anything

if it's family, they would always come first if they needed me...some things are more important than swinging. If someone let us down consistently because their family or real life made too many demands, we'd tell them we'll not make any more arrangements with them, and to let us know when their life calms down...

My family comes first as well. A drive home from work when they are an adult and can make their own way, however, is a 'want' not a 'need' in my estimation and certainly not something I would let someone down for. I believe that letting adult children know we actually have a life outside of their last minute demands is a healthy life lesson for them.

I get that everyone is different and sees life differently though, but as it's the second time it has happened with him, that's it that's all for this one unfortunately, as tasty as he is.

If I have had two meets postponed then its not definately over because they could both have been for very valid and reasonable reasons. However I make it clear that my potential playmate has to arrange the third and keep checking with me instead. I think that's fair.

Totally agree. Yes of course family comes first, but we make all our arrangements (whether family, vanilla or swinging) well in advance and carefully juggle everything we want to do. We have a 12 and and 9 year old who require a lot of ferrying around. But we are very organised with their needs and we plans our diaries with military precision. Short of one of our children being sick or my mother being sick and therefore unable to look after them, it's inconceivable that something family related would 'just come up'. And no friend or family member has ever demanded that we drop what we are doing for them. We have a diary and we use it. To us it's not rocket science.

We usually give 2 chances if there is an explanation but with single guys usually they just vanish off the face of the planet, then that's it for them.

Mr can't understand it when a guy just disappears as there is no way he would just disappear half an hour before a meet if a lovely lady was offering herself to him.
