FabSwingers.com forum: Now even photo verified users are fake..

Spoke to what we thought was a lady, photo verified so we assumed there was some clarification from the site..

Sent a voice message outside the site as a double check as we do.. recieved an attempt at can be only described as a dude speeding up a recording of his voice.

Is there no way the site can be managed a little better for the genuine users?

Admin aren't baby sitters. You did your own detective work and haven't wasted time on a meet.

No i guess we should all accept that fab can be a misleading dangerous place full of nut jobs/catfish/fakes/stalkers etc etc.. lets hope nothing serious happens to a fellow member

Seriously?! It would hardly be the website's fault would it.

People would be incredibly stupid to rely on verifications 100%. Yet some do.

It didnt say it would be the websites fault, but it would certainly be the first place to be looked at should it happen i imagine.

We treat every new approach as being from a fake profile until they prove different.

I've said it time and again, photo veries are worth the pixels that make them, even someone like me could rip a photo off the net and pass it off as me/us.

Its possible but would you be willing to pay a fee, send off your passport and 2 utility bills along with a full face video to demonstrate your who you claim to be.

Verification costs money and is by no means fool proof.

Photo validation is what it says on the tin. Someone who can write their name on a piece of paper and show it next to a full body pic.

Funnily enough yes we would and im sure others (not all) would do the same for piece of mind as we are not the first and wont be the last to post regarding fake profiles...

Ironically fab rules state you can not show the face of someone not connected to your profile even if you are in it with them, yet you can use a picture of a random person stolen from social media to set up a fake account to mislead genuine ppl

It's against the rules to use a picture of someone else on your profile. If it's reported admin will deal with it.
