Insensitive?

So, back in Jan we got chatting to a guy and were arranging to meet. We asked him to suggest a date and he went silent.

Fast forward to this month and he contacts us again. We remind him about the previous let down and he says he won't let us down this time. We arrange a date for next Tuesday and he then goes silent again. We send him a message last Tuesday asking him if the date is still on. He doesn't reply until today and days he can't meet as he has family problems.

We point out that this is the second time he has let us down and he shouldn't contact us again. He then tells us a family member has died and we are being insensitive.

We are 99% sure his story is bollocks and he needs to be called out on his crap. Anyone disagree?

I think you should assume you're never going to meet and move on.

We the jury find the defendant guilty of time wasting beyond reasonable doubt.

Thanks.

If he had not let us down before we'd give him the benefit of the doubt re the family story, but it appears this is a guy who veers between horniness and fear!

The early mortality rate among relatives of site members must be horrendous.

If a relative tells you they have joined a swinging site be afraid,

Be very afraid.

Yes, complete bollocks excuse. People use deaths and family illnesses as excuses.

On another site, we had a female suddenly announce her mum died. We ignored her because it's the usual bollocks excuse. We were chatting to a couple and they had the same female cancel a month earlier because her mum just died.

Her mother keeps resurrecting, probably this guy's mother has the same problem, lol.

You only get one opportunity to make a first impression. You shouldn't have even given him a second chance you big softy.

I have a win-win solution. Tell him you know a friend who is willing to bet £1,000 he can't produce a death certificate for a family member dated september '17. Upon winning the bet he will get the all important 3rd opportunity to meet you.

It's win-win, you get to look like the nice guy offering him and third chance and i get £1,000.

I don't see how he wasted your time though, people always say they should arrange something then real life takes over sometimes and it goes off the boil

In respect of you being insensitive my reply would of been ....not at I appreciate this is a very difficult time and that the site needs people to be in the right mind set. I feel it better for us to move on.
