Were a young couple looking for places to go where there is a good variety of other young couples and singles, any advice?

Most places we've been are open to all ages but I have seen events advertised for under 40s.

Agreed! Chic events are good for younger people (tends to be under 40). But we have found that since being in the swinging world, there are much more older couples than younger couples so you'll not often find events that cater to younger couples
