Not necessarily fake. People on here are absolutely obsessed with people being fake. No pics? Fake, leave site? Fake. Yes some maybe but not all. Maybe the site is just not for them.

maybe the site wasn't what they expected, or they changed their minds about swinging, or were spotted and decided to delete as a result.

Sadly, this is the Internet and it's full of cockwombles. You should plan for that by only uploading stuff that you'd be happy to be seen by the whole world. Picture security is non-existent.

Have to agree there as there's a guy in the next town from me who joins for a few days then leaves then a couple of weeks later rejoins have told him not to bother contacting me next time can't be doing with it! Makes me wonder if he'd turn up for a meet!?

It's happened a few times to me but our convos have carried on elsewhere. Usually married guys who got scared at being found out or fed up that their anonymous profile with little info and no pics wasn't getting them any results. Don't be surprised if they rejoin in a couple of weeks and contact you again.

We have had a few of these, at a guess the following process happens :

They get horny Create a profile send a few messages out get some replies about a meet They have a wank no longer horny and/or reality kicks in (they are attached) DELETE PROFILE

I don't think leaving the site means they're any more likely to use your pictures elsewhere. They wouldn't need to leave to do that.

But you don't know what other convos they're having at the same time. There have been times where we've had some nasty messages for no good reason and I've nearly deleted our profile on the spot. And if they've decided they can't go through with it no convo is going to be promising and might not know how to handle it.

Nothing you can do about it, it just happens and we can only speculate.

We got viewed off a couple 17hrs ago. One picture is a models bum off the internet and another body shot is from The Dailystar !!!

Can honestly say we have never knowingly experienced a fake on Fab. However, amongst other filters, we do block non-verified profiles and newbies from being able to message us. And we would be unlikely to chat to someone unless they were well verified, preferably by someone we knew or by a well-known club/party organiser. I didn't know there were fakes until I started reading about them on the forums.

You could define a fake profile as one set up by someone who has no intention of swinging and it's not made clear on the profile. It could be a man pretending to be a woman or a man pretending to a couple because he is hoping to persuade his partner to participate or someone looking to redirect interest to a sex worker.

Yes we was close to arranging our first meet after he had asked what we would like to do etc . Giving a very detailed outline of idea time. Message sent left in-read then suddenly the guys profile was hidden and messages went unnoticed. I thought it was just us.
