Help needed for our firsts pary attendance. What to wear? what to expect? and any advice really.

I would recommend asking the hosts. If they regularly host parties, they will know how the evening is likely to pan out - they should be able to help with usual dress code, whether they want you to take a bottle of wine, etc.

The only thing I would say is .... 'no means no', so if you don't want to play, don't feel that you have to xx
