Single men do usually have to be patient. Can you get to a club? Sometimes there are organised socials where lots of people meet to chat and introduce themselves. You could try something like that.

I agree get to a club and get to know people socially and talk in the forums too. Never feel afraid to post or be put off asking questions. We were all new on here once!

Hi,

I am fairly new to the site but everyone I have chatted to has been genuinely helpful. Genuine and friendly people. Try and see if there are any local social's coming up near to you, where there is no pressure and it is a relaxed way to meet other people.

I am presuming that English is not your first language. Maybe get someone to help you with your profile as that can be offputting to some.

Also, add some face pictures and a smile is always better
