Meeting At A Hotel - Advice Please

Hi fab people,

I wondered if any of you have experience with booking hotels for meets.

Could you offer any advice, tips or tricks based on your experience?

To be honest I don't have loads of spare cash so on a budget.

Are some hotels more kink friendly? I wouldn't imagine it would be great staying in a cheap B&B and fucking the living daylights out of each other, think it would be too noisy. But are some places more easy going with this kinda thing?

Also, what happens if you don't want to stay overnight? Just a few hours for the meet.

Sorry, I haven't had much experience with hotels at all.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Max

There...

Lots of hotels do dayrates - check in from 10am and leave by 5pm. Village Hotel dayrate is under £40

We've not found dayrate ones that are good priced tbh, but the big chain hotels are similar price if you search. We cant mention websites but some of the 'Booking' sites allow cancellations up to 4pm on check in day which is handy for no show or timewaster avoidance.

There and to the left a bit

Would avoid a cheap B&B to be honest if only because it's effectively someone's home and would feel a bit disrespectful to me to use it for a meet to be honest, but that's just my opinion.

Most of the major budget chains (Travelodge, Premier Inn, Holiday Inn Express etc) are clean and comfortable and reasonably priced depending on the location and perfectly suited too - although obviously you may have to be aware of possible disturbances to other guests if you're planning on being particularly noisy!!

Site called 9to5 is good for daytime. Also genius discounts on booking.com is good for reducing the price... check the serviced apartments on there as well as during the week they can be as much as 75% cheaper than weekend and you get about 2 bedrooms, lounge etc

How does a couple go about bringing a male back to hotel - such as a premier inn? Without being snared by reception?

"How does a couple go about bringing a male back to hotel - such as a premier inn? Without being snared by reception?"

Some premier inns have seperate entrances to the rooms from the bar area so you don't go past reception.

You'll have to go through together as the first door needs a card

Premier inn are getting tougher with the number of adults actually staying in a room ie you can't book in three adults

No 1 giveaway is looking guilty, be confident

We had a meet in a Travelodge last week. Very easy, our meet simply walked in & up the stairs to our room. Will definitely do it again!

Just walk through confidently with him. They won't say anything. And if they do, he is a friend having a drink in your room before you go out.

We have had many hotel meets with men and never ever been challenged.

(Not swinging) but That's very very worrying from a single females point of view if she's staying away for work

I've met people in hotels dozens of times, for work and on meets, and have never been not able to walk up to the room.

Not really, someone would still have to get past the bedroom door and you cannot take every single risk out of normal life.

It is? Why?

If I am staying in a hotel for work (or pleasure) I'm aware that hundreds of other people are staying there too. Hotel rooms do have locks on doors (not to mention that the fact I'm a woman should make no difference)

That's fine if you're happy, I wouldn't be happy if my daughter was staying in a hotel and anyone could enter and wander around the hotel bedroom areas.

Obviously I didn't mean the people staying in the hotel rooms.

It should make a difference as more chances that a weirdo knocking on the bedroom door is going to be a bloke targeting women.

The travelodges I've stayed in if nothing else is available needed the room key to enter the first locked door in reception ?

Almost every major hotel chain in the world is like that. Big open receptions with lifts to the room corridors.

In most again hotels, the staff won't remember or even care about who's coming in and out. If the lift is accessed by a key card then you can either meet the person in a bar/location near by and walk in with them or you can drop it out of an upstairs window to them wrapped up in something. Either way, the staff don't care We've had 20 people in our travellodge room for a vanilla party when travelling with friends.

They do care if you start making a racket at 1am so keep the noise down and respect the other guests. If you can't keep it quiet, maybe consider a club with private rooms instead.

Hotels near airports will be more used to people coming and going at all hours and for short stays.

She said travelodge which I was commenting on as I've never known one that didn't need a room card to get through from reception(but to be fair I avoid them where possible)

in Europe I've found more and more hotels have internal doors that need your room card.

Like I said if she's happy she's happy it was my daughter I would be worried about but that's natural

I always ask for two key cards - hotels don't batter an eye lid

It means you can pop out and give a keycard to couple and then pop back in

I would say book it once you have met as, just in case of a no show. As many don't show up.

If op is a bit nervous of checking out after a few hours I've heard u can just leave the door key or whatever in the room and leave without needing to speak to reception.. Not sure if it's correct but when I've used hotels in the past the check out isn't usually more than a cursory glance from the receptionist and handing it over so not much difference

People use hotels for all sorts of dubious activities. As long as you aren't doing anything illegal or annoying to other guests, the staff really don't give a shit.

Not sure if this helps but my boss couldn't attend a course being held in London and as it was in my field of work asked if I'd like to go instead. Changing the course details into my name easy but she had booked the Premier Inn at Covent Garden in her name and no time to change it. So I had a room but in her name not mine, luckily that hotel has a machine that you can use to book remotely so as long as you have the booking reference number no problem.

Maybe look for these hotels, probably find them in the busiest hotels only.

That's right. We had an all day ffm meet at a holiday inn. Checked in at 11am and out at 6pm. Reception didn't bat an eyelid.

On other meets one party has stayed over, so the checkout was normal and we all just went to the room the time we were playing.
