One thing I'm curiouse about is whether or not (guys and ladies) believe that women (with their far better ratios) know that ultimately that they're always gonna be in control on here because they've got tens of attractive, hung or decent guys out of the hundreds of slobs that tried picking them up with cock pics or weak messages. Ok yes the ripped/hung/attractive guys probably get it easiest out of the guys, but I imagine more hot women get messages than hot/hung guys and they've probably got a wider pick of even the best guys. I just wonder to myself what keeps a woman loyal to an arranged meet-up on here given that she could chop and change from the guy that was a 7/10 to the guy who's an 9/10 etc. Does this power get abused often?

Men like to blame the fact it's full off men! But it's not the case. The men getting the meets are the men showing the women respect. They are planning meets and arranging not them in advance. This can be true for a lot of instances. Sex especially like you said. There is of course a lot of men's more immediate need to mate and urge within to spread his seed . Whereas women often aren't in any rush and actually prefer playing the waiting game as it builds up feelings and improves any sexual relationships that do occur. Of course this can switch into real life as people are people and our instincts can't be switched off at will.

Women can also play the existing legal system and society's ideas better than a man can.

Thers are instances however where men have far more power. The build up prior to entering into marriage for example. Many men are in no rush to get settled down at all, they know full well they'll probably be able to get a spouse at any age so long as they have enough resources. Whereas a lot of women's feelings about entering into wedlock equate to a man's desire to procreate; they NEED it, have to have it as it is one of their primary genetic functions to couple up. They crave having a single mate for decades much more often than most men do and behind it all is the biological clock ticking ever louder...

Of course there's also a lot of people of both sexes who aren't particularly arsed with power play in real life, myself included. As part of a sexual fantasy though, I don't mind that one bit...

Asides from offering myself as an example (and hey I might not be your type) when I search anonymously for other guys profiles in my area to get an idea of what the potential standards are and what I might improve on, I see pages upon pages of guys many of which have an equal chance and are probably equally frustrated and all hetro sexual. I've never really thought of pubs or clubs like that as I found the easiest way to simply hook up with someone was to just walk into a city centre bar on a saturday night, though the sex I had often wasn't as good as in this lovely community... But you're probably right about the numbers, though not to quite the same proportions as fab obviously! Unless said pub gets visited by a hen do. Or there's male strippers on in there. I think you seem to have your own insecurity issues.

Given that they get dozens of messages from odd balls they are allowed to be cautious.

example 1

It's all in your head imo, how you choose to view life... You seem to have a 'them against us mentality' and you seem to want to place yourself in a hierachal system which would allow you to use the "rules of the game".. Which I'm assuming makes some feel comfortable.

I work life on the basis that there's a level playing field. There's human beings, with bodies and blood running through their veins... They had differing view points but you can get along with everyone as long as you treat people how you want to be treated.

If you clash with someone, then just move on to socialise with the next person as how someone treats you is a reflection on them not you (as long as you've not gone out of your way to be a *unt).

If anyone cancels a social because of a "better offer" then unless you like that kind of behaviour they probably have a very different value system to you and you'll forever be trying to live up to their despotic demands... which will be some people's cuppa tea.

If a man says no then 10 seconds later the woman is looking through 500 messages from other guys and can pick whomever she wants. If a woman says no then a very sexually frustrated guy is gonna be jerking off and spending weeks or months getting another meet to happen during which that lady has screwed 10's of guys (just because she can).

No.. It depends on the people you're talking about and in what sense.

Everyone's on an equal footing. If you can't see that. you're blind. what you choose to do with the tools at your disposal is up to you. how you go about living your life is up to you, the way in which you view and communicate with the person you're attracted to is up to you.

I've been stood up/cancelled/told no several times whilst I've been on here and in vanilla world....... and I've never managed to replace that cancellation even tho on some of those occasions I've had a few days notice! So I've spent my day/night off bored and alone or in the company of vanilla friends

The ratio of men to women on here is far from equal but that's just numbers anybody regardless of sex has the power to say NO

They won't be. I'm not big headed enough to believe that I'm by any means the only guy being respectful in his messages on here, so of those 500 50 or more would be decent ones from which only a few guys would be worthy (in your eyes) of a response and the others will go searching again.

I agree with much of what you say above at a logical and detached way.

Sex, desire etc doesn't operate that way for many men. Women also have a greater choice of men in the swinging world I feel ... The more choice we have or more easily accessible something is we are more selective in our choices.

Yes got to say definitely think women do have all the power on fab. I had a single guys profile for years before starting a couples profile with g/f. Vast amount of guys to women they can pick and choose who they want. Like a previous person said it's hard for single guys as there are lots of guys on the site that are timewasters so the genuine guys do suffer. Now I have a couples profile nothing's changed all about what the g/f wants

I was told I was loyal because I said I was waiting to meet a guy I'd been speaking to a for a while but distance was proving a meet to be hard. However I was then convinced to just meet this other dude as the one I was waiting to meet was probably shagging and meeting other birds local to him. Good point and I'm now going to meet a handsome local hunk of Welsh beef tomorrow.

Regarding numbers , when men outnumber women by about 10 to 1 the women will have alot more choice and messages, not necessarily a good thing, regarding power , depends on desperation of guys messaging , guys should be able to take or leave if they want . Short answer,no real power either way unless one or the other is desperate
