So we looked at a profile that had looked at ours because the profile picture looked very much like one of ours. On further investigation it is exactly the same, just cropped slightly smaller but Lou's jewellery and the guys watch make it undeniable.

Our photo was posted over four years earlier. What's the protocol for dealing with this after reporting them? We have reported another profile for stealing a friends photos just this week but it seems nothing has yet been done?

We always Mark them now but previously didn't.

None of your public pics appear to be watermarked that we can see

Report and let admin sort it out. But your pics are 3 years old, so maybe ready for new ones anyway?

I've just changed all my pics and watermarked them because of this issue. A dead giveaway is when copied pics are added after original pics are posted.

I find people tend to copy certain poses quite a lot. I'm sure if admin looked through all the pics of single guys laying on a bed taking a full length body shot from over their shoulder, it would look a lot like a color chart lol, each one the same but slightly different. To be sure, watermark your pics, take regular ones, shuffle them around, delete them or make them private and for friends viewing only.

What's annoying is that pictures anywhere online are simple to steal (just press the 'prt scrn' button on your keyboard and then paste into you photo app), and watermarks can be very well disguised with basic photoshop brushes. You could also try a reverse picture search to see if they are your pictures, but results will vary depending on privacy settings
