Couple to Single.....?

Hi, just looking for some insight really!

Having been one half of a couple (female) swinging for the past couple of years, I am now single and would love to carry on swinging.

Just wondering if it would be wise to take a break during this transition or just get on with it?!

Unfortunately we're still living under the same roof, so proving a bit difficult, but I really don't know if I should be having meets whilst still living with the ex. (until I can find somewhere)

Has anyone else been in this situation and if so how did you cope or what did you do?

i lived with my last ex for a couple of years after we split up.

i felt like it would be disrespectful of me to meet someone else while with him, but this could also partly be down to me making excuses as to why not to move on.

i think if you're not sure then don't it, there's a reason why you aren't ready -even if you don't know/understand what that reason is.

I'd just take a break and sort 'real life' out first.

It might cause a massive shitstorm if you look to be 'moving on' too quickly xx

I'd just do what you think is right.

You'll not please everyone.

Life is for living. If you've seperated and don't do it in your home your not doing anything wrong.

I start all mine as socials anyway. No pressure. Some don't progress, others do. You could also attend a club. X

Are you going to tell him you're meeting someone? How would you feel if he was off having meets?

I've always met in clubs & its been over emotionally for me for quite a while.

As for if he was meeting, no wouldn't worry me in the slightest, might sound harsh but true!

Just to clarify, we're not married either.

Thanks for the advice though.

I'd certainly give yourselves both a chance to heal. You both loved each other once respect that, but try to move on and find different places to live asap, even if that means compromise.
