Despite sending lots of (what I think are) friendly, non-creepy messages, I've not had much in return...any tips on sprucing up the ol' profile? I'd particularly like to interest couples

Your profile looks fine to me. Written in full sentences and is clear what you are after.

You are unfortunately fighting against a stream of people fishing for pictures or bombarding with messages x

Looks fine to me too. Perhaps where you are may make a difference to your hit rate as fewer fish to cast your net over.

You have good pictures and profile is easy to read. The thing I have noticed is that you've been here for over a year and it appears you haven't had a meet yet. Members are wary of this, as it indicates the person doesn't or won't meet. The only way to rectify this is to go to socials or clubs to meet people and get verified. Or delete the profile and start again. Good luck.

Photos are good. Maybe delete the whole thing and start again as a year without a meet looks dodge. Text is good too - maybe think of what you can offer as you can't accommodate. Get yourself to a social or organise your own and start making contacts. Good luck

Your main problem is being on site over a year and no veris. That will put most people off. Get to a club or social asap.
