Finding the right cage is a bit of a challenge sadly... their is no perfect fit unless you buy a custom made design or get lucky on a model... but finding the right cage is part of the fun in some ways.

As a first cage, i would recommend the CB6000 and CB6000s (s for small) model. They are a bit fiddly, but the design comes with 3 rings and different spaces which is great to start finding out what works.

The cage wants to be slightly small than his flacid length. There is different views on this, but i agree with this if you are looking for more reg wear verses play time only.

Getting used to the cage takes time too... with overnight being the most challenging due to early morning erections (most of us get morning wood to stop us peeing whilst we sleep)... getting up, walking a little, once subsided have a wee and back to bed works for me. But build up the time in the cage slowly. Any pain, stop and take it off... identify the source and if ok, try again.

I'd avoid silicone cages unless they have an 'under' connection as well as the tube, otherwise they just bend and are useless. Metal is many people fav for long term wear as it is generally the easiest to clean. Plastic like the holy trainer 2 are light and comfy.. but do smell if not cleaned reguarly.

Not if the cage size is correct. It will be discomforting, as that is the point of the cage.

The ball trap type of cages are designed to pull on the balls and hold the erection inside the body, whilst the cage stops reduces or stops direct stimulation, especially to the glands.

We have tried plastic and found them to be too fiddly to put on, stainless steel is by far the best get an open cage which allows for cleaning so means it can be worn for loner periods, so Fay 6 days the longest. Got my new Holy Trainer on today for the first time.

Reasonably comfy but taking some getting used to after my metal one. Definitely much more difficult to get on.

None of the ones I have tried are totally escape proof. You can slip out while flaccid, get hard, have a play, and then slip back in once flaccid again. They're more symbolic than a practical prevention of masturbation.

CB6000 was my first one. Really awkward to put on without painfully pinching skin. Hygiene is difficult in these. If your urethra doesn't line up with the slot, you'll spray inside them. I took this off after 24 hours and I smelled like a multi storey car park stairwell.
