FabSwingers.com forum: Right, what am I doing wrong?

I've been on this site ages now. I don't consider myself to be an ugly guy. I generally do pretty well on nights out etc with regards to "pulling" women. I have pictures on my profile and information about myself. I always send nice and polite messages with a good bit of content in them. Not just "hey, you're hot" or something like that. Despite all of this though, I very, very rarely get a reply. By rarely I mean that say I sent out 20 messages, I might receive 1 back.

I must be doing something wrong, so I'm basically just looking for a bit of advice. Any at all would be welcome!

nope - that's a pretty respectible response rate

the only thing you are doing wrong is setting your expectations too high

the majority of people whop join fab never meet anyone - so statisitically speaking the chances are you won't either.

Use that as your baseline for setting you expectations in a realistic fashion and you will never be disappointed.

Well done on the profile - admittedly not what we are looking for - but well done......... if all guys followed suit and made the same effort this would be easy ........ best of luck anyhow

You're probably not doing anything wrong and I suspect it's more to do with the sheer numbers of single guys on here compared to couples and single ladies especially those under 40. You could try some socials or clubs to get yourself known a bit. Good luck.

It just goes to show: I'd ignore your profile as when I was meeting I responded to profiles from men that told me what they liked, what they could offer me and how they fit what I was looking for. There's nothing in your profile to interest me.

With limited playtime I'd go for the other fella that made more of an effort to me in setting out his stall.

I was looking for a specific type of playmate: your generic profile is not getting the results you expected so perhaps a tweak?

I heard a while back from a lady that she liked it when a guy smiles in his facial photo... I have to confess I don't have such a pic on my publicly _iewable profile -

just a thought - hell! what do I know?

To be honest 20-1 is quite good. Even our odds arent as good as that. We can struggle with 50-1 at least.

Yes, I realised how incredibly lucky I had been on seekfling only recently. Put an ad up Sunday, invited to meet on Weds for Friday had to put off till following Friday then after fisting,squirting and mental sex repeated a number of times for 8 months things came to a natural close...she tipped me off about this site, which I think is great but as a single man u realise u have very little to stand out and I have had 2 rbeplies in 6 months both of which have died out in 1 week and gone nowhere. I was invited by her to get into clubs and swinging but I felt she wanted more and I couldnt offer it despite how nice she is....in some ways wish I had taken advantage but not my nature.

Lets keep going may get lucky,

but think its better designed (not surprisingly) for couples...who i get the impression do well.

To the OP, patience is the key. Use the site as a place to chat to like minded people and hopefully a meet will turn up for you.

If you use the site with an attitude of " I want a meet and I want it now !!! you will probably be dissapointed.

Keep trying and patience is the key. Dont hassle people or send 'angry' messages if they dont reply, just move on - it will be worth it in the end - i have had a couple of meets with fantastic genuine people on here, but it does take time

As a couple we get messages from men all the time, most with just a picture of their dick. Some are from too far away and some are in the vein of "fancy a fuck" So most of ours get deleted. I would probably say we answer maybe 1 in 30 so your response rate seems pretty good to me.
