Hi all, if sometimes I send a message and it remains 'unread' for a week or so I usually delete it from my Sent Messages page. Is it then deleted from the person I send it to as well or does it remain in their Messages until they delete it their end too?

It stays in their inbox.

You're right to delete your sent box messages. Anything else just leads to clicking 'refresh', and that just leads to madness.

Delete messages as soon as you send them

That way you're not watching, waiting for it to be read then waiting for a reply.

If you get a reply back great, but if you delete them straight away, you kind of forget who you messaged anyway and if they don't reply you aren't worrying about it.
