"Corset Story. If you you the steel bone corsets, they have a guide on the sizing. You don't buy the size to match your measurements as the corsets adjust and you can trim inches off your waist." I read somewhere that we need to choose a corset 2-4inches smaller (at waist) than our actual waist and then adjust the strongs/ribbons accordingly to fit.

Yes, if you are after a waist training corset to help you get that over exaggerated hour glass figure. For just a normal figure (what's normal for us gurls, lol) then just a fashion corset should do. This will help the figure and lift boobs (I wish) without reducing your waist. Don't forget, over use of a proper steel boned corset can lead to serious internal problems.

"I am wanting to get my first corset but I don't want to spend a fortune and I've been looking on Amazon but I'm really confused about the sizing and I have no idea what to get. For example I've found some that would fit my bust and hips but is a couple of inches smaller on the waist but then the reviews might say things like smaller fit...so then what do I do? Please can someone help me here? " Try Extravagance in the lanes in Meadowhall, you can try on and they are often only £10

As others have said, Corsets UK are your best bet and they have good advice on sizing.
