Swinging with friends?

Hi all. Has any one here ever introduced friends to the "lifestyle"? Me and my husband are very good friends with a couple who know about what we get up to. There's real sexual tension at times between all of us. The only thing that's stopping is the fact we are good friends, and perhaps turning a friendship into more may be a bad idea.

Anybody done it? Did it work out?

We have never done it and dont think we would as we like to be discreet about what we do and one of our rules is we dont play with friends.

we do too, none of our friends know what we do apart from these two, and they only know because we trusted them enough to tell them. But I'm beginning to think not playing with friends is the safest way to play it

We have done it and would never do it again.

It changed the dynamics of our friendship.

Yes we have done it a few times with a few friends.

The first time was when we asked a friend if he would video us having sex.

He got so randy it was only fair that B let him play with her as a reward

Could be dangerous ground, any element of jealousy creeps in and boom.. friendship ruined. Good friends are far more valuable than swinging buddies in our opinion. On the flip side a couple we met on the scene are now considered to be some of our best vanilla friends too and we love em to bits.

Got to agree, playing with vanilla friends is very dangerous territory, imagine if it all goes wrong and they very publicly out you? I am sure we all remember our first time playing and what the nerves were like, and you never really know how you will react when the fantasy becomes reality.

Much better to make friends with swingers.

Why not "double date" to a club? We're friends with a couple who we told about our life on here and they were keen to come to Secrets with us - they decided that swinging wasn't for them in the end but we all had an excellent time and ended up playing within our own couples, it was great for a bit of voyeurism/exhibitionism and nobody felt awkward. Also keeps it separate from vanilla life that bit more that way.

Dad always told me ,never shit on your own door step . Always ends in tears . If you happen to fall out you can be sure your lifestyle will be common knowledge .

We have two sorts of friends. Swinging friends and non-swinging friends. They don't meet.

Funnily enough my dad said those exact words to me in my teens. Never shit on your own doorstep. Dad's come out with the best advice

I have

Swinging friends

Swinging player partners

Vanilla ex swingers

Obviously these all know I play, some of the ex swingers said they whilst don't actively play they are still sexually enjoy thought

Some football lads know, it used to get brought up now nothing is said.

In terms of my vanilla friends 6 know but they are mates from uni both female and male, they are cool - it's not for them, I don't go in to details and they don't ask.

Would I introduce anyone probably not

We have a friend who knows what we do. We wouldn't take her to a club with us, she seems interested but she needs to do it off her own back without the comfort of her vanilla friends as a crutch!

Virtually all of my friends know about my lifestyle. Some swing, some do not...some asked me for advice when they decide to try swinging....I attend clubs with some, and not with others.

It can change friendships but a good friendship will survive intact. I have many good friends in the swinging scene, some I met within the scene and others not.

Often when my wife and I go to clubs we go with several friends. Sometimes there's a bunch of 8-10 of us together. Some of us play with each other and some don't. It doesn't stop us being friends.

Swinging is surely supposed to be social and fun?
