How far would you feel it's an ideal distance to travel to date someone you've chatted to online

I've had long distance relationships before and they can be hard work I'd like to know your thoughts

East Sussex

An hour in either a swinging or dating context. Close enough for convenience, distant enoughh for comfort.

to me if you like someone distance dosent matter

all my meets on here have involved a couple of hours drive , i love it , adds to the excitement.

im single livealone , no ties , so if it was a relationship type date and i fell in love id relocate

Who's to say your "one" is I n the same vicinity as you? I would never restrict my chances like that. If you are serious about being in a relationship and if you meet someone who makes you want to be with them more and more, distance is just logistics.

I've moved through and lived in 3 continents, what's another few miles if it came down to it

Also depends on your family though and work doesn't it ?

Exactly lol! LDR's can work but they require more effort...... at least we have better phone deals nowadays, my ex used to spend a fortune calling me an hour a day from phone boxes! !

LDR's are fine if there is scope for the relationship to actually develop into something more permanent.

But more often than not it became very apparent that neither party are prepared to move so it is doomed from the start. LDR FWB though ....totally worth it.

I had a long distance... surrey to South Wales .... both made it work as really liked each other. But was difficult during the week not to see each other as it got more serious. X

I thought 135 miles was far enough, then he had to move to Portugal
