What is the definition of swing

I am the female half on a couple. The meets I have are car meets and involves my husband, as a photographer, bouncer and if he wants he can join in. Over the last couple of weeks he has been meeting a single lady by himself. I am not involved at all. I this cased as swinging or an affair???

If your in full knowledge and fine with it what does it matter what it's classed as ,but if behind your back its an affair or would be in our mind having ones cake and eating it

I think the definition of swinging is whatever you want it to be but for us it's being equal both in terms of what we do and don't do.

we dont play seperately because i dont like Mr meeting and would find it unfair if I did and he couldn't. So simply we both dont. We sometimes do things that dont work for us.. so we talk and either dont do it again or compromise.

If your not happy tell him he needs to stop meeting her x

This is the reason we have set rules from the beginning. If one of us feel uncomfortable we stop everything. It's about respecting each other's wishes

When we started swinging we did so tentatively, with certain rules. As we've gone along we've dropped most of our rules. Now we're exploring separate meets we've realised it's important to set up some rules again. Even though you're playing separately it should still be something you're doing together.

It sounds at the moment that things are out of your control and you're uncomfortable with it, not sure if it's swinging or an affair. I think it's time you talked and negotiated some rules. If he knows what side his bread is buttered on he'll be more than happy to do this. Have a think about what you want from the situation. You may just want a veto or some say in what he's doing order you may want to have a break for a while. Good luck

There is a lot of "i" and "he" not a lot of we..

If he is meeting with your consent then its swinging, if not then it is cheating.. that said if he has consent but you are not happy for him to do it then its up for discussion, you may need to clarify as it sounds a tad hypocritical?

That is right too and sometimes it can break or make a relationship, instead of letting one have more fun let the guy have similar meets too.

Jealousy and cheating have no place in the swinging lifestyle and the lifestyle does not encourage it. The moment you feel jealous or temptation to cheat is the moment your relationship needs to be talked about.
