i was recently asked by a couple id been emailing if i would like to meet,but being my first time i got cold feet, has anyone else done this or is it just me!!!

I'm sure lots have done it.... Its how and when you got the cold feet that mattered and how you let them know..

No one has to do anything,.. but if you just didn't show up or worse lol.. Then I'd have shut up personally lol...

It's normal to be a bit nervous first time - and I think if you're up front with your prospective meet, they should be OK about it, and maybe you'll live to meet another day.

However, you need to be sure you REALLY want to do this.. for many people it's a stimulating fantasy but they can never bring themselves to take it to the next stage (i.e. an actual meet). I suggest you think long and hard whether you're really up for it,and if so just make sure you take it at your own pace so nobody feels under any undue pressure.

Feels odd giving such advice to a guy but it just shows we're all the same really!

I remember the first time I ever met a swinging couple (a LONG time ago) I sat in the pub car park for ages wondering if I could pluck up the nerve to go in. I'm so glad I did!!

If you just didn't turn up after saying you would you deserve dry holeing with a splintery stick.

On the other hand if you gave the people you were gonna meet a decent excuse with adequate notice,fair enough.

Many people get stage fright or first night nerves,the thing to do is to be upfront about it.We're sure anyone worthwhile would understand your anxiety and put your mind at ease.

nearly everyone is nervous the first time, maybe next time meet for a coffee and get to know them without any pressure, but like the others said if you get cold feet just let thm know before hand and be honest

that is true, you have to look why your here if you lose your bottle the first time. being a single male your offers will be far and few between unless your something special

I understand the nerves if a guy is meeting up with a couple,its not easy as you're outnumbered for a start

He may find this is'nt for him or go on to overcome the nerves and have a great time

I understand how you felt, I was nervous meeting my first couple and me being an ex Priest just addded to that anxiety. Luckily it was their first time too and were more nervous than me and looked at me to take the lead. It all turned out well in the end and I'm glad I went for it.

Maybe it's not really your thing but as others have said, you won't get an endless string of opportunities and if you cancel again, maybe non at all.
