Doing your own searching

Hi all, after a bit of advice/guidance on how offers go about searching for potential playmates.

Up to now, all but one of our meets has messaged us initially and the one that didn't was recommended by someone we met with whom they were friends with so we contacted him.

We don't want to rely solely on guys that match what we're seeking to find us and contact us first as this is proving tiresome so want to do our own searching as many posts on here state is the best method.

We have winked/messaged a number of guys on occasion but seldom get the response we hoped for.

So our question is, how do couples go about finding guys?

Do they wink or just message and how can you tell if a guy is for you considering 99% of the profiles in our area for instance is just of their cock or no photos at all and very little info on their profiles to go on.

And what is the best way to say no when a face pic is exchanged considering majority don't have them public (like us) if they turn out there's no attraction considering you contacted them first as you're then branded a time waster or get abuse.

You're better off just messaging them straight away. Many times winks go unreturned or if they are, nobody makes the first move afterwards. Exchange photos as early as possible. If you're not attracted to them, a polite decline and then block them spares you the aggro of abusive responses.

Dropping a handkerchief and hoping they pick it up isn't realistic in the online world,so our best advice,is search through profiles for the ones that catch your eye, then send a polite message, somewhere along the lines of,we are interested in what your profile says, hope you feel the same about ours.

Thank you. We'll take this on board.

Brighton - even Hove!

Look at their profiles and see if what is written interests you, see I'd try have good verifications, see if they've posted in the forum, send them a noncommittal message and see what their reply is like, if all is well and good keep chatting and if you think they are still what you're looking for invite them to join you

Don't worry that someone will view you as a time waster when you realise you aren't attracted to their face.

Fab is like the real life. We communicate and get to know each other. And have the right to call it a day at any time.

Winks are my preferred method when I contact people and always consider them when I receive them. Surely, I'm not an exception.

So wink away and message at will!

I've had messages from couples who have declined at the face pic swap page. That's life, I don't take offence. Some will take offence though but you may gauge if that is likely from the initial message, and then the block button is your friend.

Jump right in and the men will be glad of it, especially if everything comes to fruition.

If someone winks me I just say thank you and get in touch if you want to know more... In other words the wink is largely pointless!

As others have said, if you are approaching them send your face pic early (within 3 messages) and you'll save yourself a lot of wasted effort.

Yeah we won't be winking, seems majority don't favour it so will just message instead & clear the sent box as advised by a few who messaged us their advice

Yes, send a message to them is the best.

Personally I'd say a wink is more than adequate to get a response. If they are interested you should know fairly quickly. Guys don't get that many messages. Sometimes when people message you they can be a little too strong or assume things you are not so it can put you off. If you like them, say just that, keep it simple, that you are looking to meet and you like the look of them.

A couple messaged me : "sexy.wife.for.meets" once, as you can guess it didn't work, i didn't messaged then back everyone should make an effort when they send messages in my opinion.

I recently received a wink from a couple which I assumed meant they may be interested in my profile so I sent a polite message thanking them for contact and giving a bit more detail about myself - Result - Nothing read and no reply - OK accept everyone on Fab is here for their own thing and nothing should surprise me these days - But did think a little odd

We don't look for new guys very often, but we we do, we have found winks work well. We are aware that what we are looking for is not what many guys are looking for, so we would rather test the water first, than potentially waste time writing a carefully written message. The majority of guys send a message following us winking. A few we never hear from, so we assume they weren't interested in what we had to offer at that moment in time.

That makes a good deal of sense and saves a lot of time and effort for all concerned.

I use the wink approach as I think I set out what Im looking for on my profile and have face pics - so if guys see my wink they can choose to reply if they want - ive not sent many out yet as just getting back into it, but it seems to be good so far xx
