Imagine if single men replied to all the messages they receive

Now if this topic was created by a single guy the answer would be 'move on, you must not be their cup of tea'.

It looks like he wanted to see your friends only pics and then decided he didnt want to meet you.

Blocking you is easier than possibly getting messeges from you asking why he no longer wants to meet. Doesnt it also say somewhere that no messege means they arent interested ?

OP I completely agree with where you are coming from. I understand that certain people/ couples will receive ridiculous amounts of mail so replying to everyone is impossible. But in your instance is sounds like you had sent each other several messages so a simple oh your not really for me but good luck in your search type of message would of took seconds to write. The complete lack of manners from some on here is astounding as is the amount of keyboard warriors. What you have described happens to me on average about once a week. Just be grateful you didn't meet him, 100's of genuine single males on here myself included.

I might be wrong, but it would appear he approached the OP first, so after he saw the pics, obviously he couldn't see a connection, so in this case, a polite, no, he'd decided not to meet after all, may have been better. If they had approached him first and they weren't to his taste, then a delete and block wouldn't be seen as rude.

We simply don't have any friends only photographs; keeps the piccy-collectors well at bay. And in any case, we simply delete any winks or friends invites from single men who we haven't met yet. There are so many of them around but so few who we would ever contemplate meeting

Ranting is not accepted either, if you read other threads. You're supposed to suck it up and get on with looking for suitable people.

I don't accept friend requests from anyone, unless I have met or talk to them regularly by private message. It means no one can wank over my pics -not that I have any worth wanking over. Those who want to see my face get sent a pic attached to a message. I have had one person look and ignore me afterwards. It's no big deal, it means he didn't find me attractive. On here, ignoring , blocking and deleting are not seen as rude, just a time saving exercise, apparently. Some people don't like to tell people they aren't attracted to them and block instead. Don't take it personally.

Some people can't bring themselves to say they don't fancy you; it's very difficult. Although, I wouldn't agree to meeting someone anywhere -or even discuss it - before seeing a face pic and having plenty of dialogue.

Yep totally agree hey it's also ok to chat on here lol I never take the hump, still think loads of people are cool that didn't click with. It could happen on my side too.

Also appreciate the point about ladies getting loads of volume and I think that's a shame because it must be really diffcult to not get into an assembly line mentality where you are trying to sift through. It kind of takes away the space to engage with anyone meaningfully

"Oh the irony. I have many no reason deletions. I think only two women have replied with a short no thank you, for which I thanked them for their courtesy and left them alone. A man deletes for no reason and it's grab your torch and pitchforks!

There's plenty of threads slating women for not replying

I think you mean there are plenty of threads where a single guy complains about women not replying and gets torn to shreds by a horde of women and couples for daring to speak up."

Imagine women having an opinion.

"In the opening post, the single guy wanted to meet them in a club and then changed his mind, perfectly acceptable, I think in this case, he could have said he'd changed his mind, however I wouldn't have asked him why that was. all I asked is why he send a friends request then 5 mins later deleted us a simile question off why"

A simple answer is that he sent the friends request so he could see your friends only pics. He saw the pics and decided he didnt want to meet you. He then blocked you to avoid getting messeges from you asking why etc.

"if he arranged to meet you i think he should've said he'd changed his mind."

Yes, that's what I was trying to get at.

Maybe he shouldn't have said he wanted to meet them, until he'd seen the friends pics.

Samiss, he could have simply sent a message saying no thanks.. It's just manners really.. It's like somebody saying you can't wear a sarong in 2x2 on nude night..

yeah they could've been waiting for him at chams and even turned down other offers because of him.

if nothing had been planned then fair enough, no need to say anything.

This is spooky , I just finished reading this thread , and went back to paruse my page for a message off a guy who was quite complimentary ( to start with ) , however I replied that he should have read my profile as it says I don't meet single guys ( sorry don't hate me for that ) , anyway he replied he was Bi , I said his profile stated he was straight and anyway he was still a single male , to which he replied I'm just another time waster and blocked me , WTF , I was just stating the facts , anyway f**k it who cares I'm sure I'll survive

Another case of people not reading profiles and they wonder why, in this case, we delete and block!
